Registered Provider: Mrs. J Patel BSc Pham, MRPS.
Mrs Patel has some twenty-five years in care home management and her clinical background is as a qualified pharmacist.
Care Manager:Bernadette Makaza-Muzavazi.
RNMH. RN1. Diploma in Elderly Care, Dual trained in General and Mental Health Nursing.
34 years clinical experience and Masters in Education qualification, specialising in Health and Social Care.
Nurses organise, plan and review care in liaison with families, residents and healthcare professionals. Supervise carers on the delivery of quality care
Care staff and key workers Carry out direct (‘hands-on’) care under the supervision of nurses and in accordance to the agreed plan of care
Activity Co-ordinators provide a meaningful range of activities for both individual and groups of residents
Administrator supports the care manager on all aspects of administration from fee payments to staff wages
Domestics work as members of the care team to ensure that the Home maintains consistently high standards of cleanliness
Cooks ensure that residents can enjoy the highest standards of catering and involve residents in menus ranges and choices
Laundry staff ensures that there is an efficient and organised laundry service for all residents

Our service is led by Bernie, a highly qualified and experienced nurse who hold qualifications in general and mental health nursing and a teaching qualification. Bernie is highly experienced in care in the community and this shows in her management style. Since she has joined Orrell Grange many improvements have taken place.
There is a vibrant highly motivated nursing team who are creative and innovative in their approach.

Activities. There is a team of dedicated activities co-ordinated, who offer a wide range of activities, from gentle support and stimulation to our ill residents, through to group activities.
